The waiters waitresses are very polite. Nice. The food is excellent, especially the ribs. And Mac and cheese.

Delicious is all I can use to describe it. The ribs were literally falling off the bone tender and yummy great sauce to meat ratio. The brisket was tender as well very good with the garlic bread. The Mac and cheese was pretty good and the collard greens were the same. Well worth what I paid for it all I'll definitely be back. Bought myself birthday dinner and glad I did.

Visited this place several months back and noted that they had great food. Today (08.29.24) I went in at 5:15 and when I walked out it was 5:50. I was immediately greeted and given a menu and water. After that nobody approached me. Can't even tell you who my waitress was because the woman that took my drink order went behind the bar and a different woman handed me the water. She didn't even look at me though. Don't think she heard the "thank you" I said to her because she was walking away that fast. Funny thing: My table was the first line of tables next to the bar & mine was where they grab the drinks to run them out. She was standing next to my for me to witnesses vaping, watching videos & going through her email. I've worked in the industry before so I tried to be understanding because we all need a mental breath from time to time. What made me walk out was seeing 3 other tables get served their food before me when they came in after me & I hadn't even been approached since I initially sat down.

Deep fried mac and cheese for the win!!

The food is always to die for especially during the summer months when they have all the smokers going outside however all the inside food is very good as well great service never have to wait they have one waiting for you before you're ready :-) overall great experience something that is not down below is there absolutely fabulous coleslaw as a side right up there with the mac and cheese:-)

The cheeseburger I ordered was absolutely disgusting. I ordered it well done it came raw then it was so thin. It was hardly anything to it. Would never go back.

This was the second time I was there. The ribs were really good, along with the mac and cheese, the fries were awful. The woman behind the bar was in a bad mood the entire time I was there. She complained about other customers, and evidently, the coworker showed up 30 mins late... which the regulars were laughing about because it always happens. I wanted to like it, but the atmosphere wasn't great. If I come back it will be takeout. Also, may be the worst bar I've sat at because the stools are so close to the bar. I'm somewhat tall and my knees were right up against the bar.

I gave no rating because if it were possible, I the rating would in the negative. We arrived at 1:00 a.m. based on the website saying the place was open until 2:00 a.m. the blond behind the bar was so exceptionally rude. I told her we drove from Detroit to Roseville to try the barbecue after a concert and great night, she completely ruined it for us by not even bothering to apologize but saying it wasn't her fault that the website was wrong and that she couldn't do anything about it. We did not expect service, I only wanted to convey how disappointed we were not to be able to try good food or what we thought would be good food, at such an hour, and then be given such a horrid response to our dilemma. I indicated to the gentleman who was kind enough to come to the door and listen to me how her response had rattled me and she gave no response he apologized profusely and was kind and professional. She needs to go -- whatever her role is she represented the restaurant horribly. We will never try it, nor will we ever recommended it. What a shame she was...

I wish I had the same experience that others have had with Stonewood Smokehouse... but sadly that's not the case. The food was fine; I wouldn't say it was any worse or necessarily better than other barbecue restaurants on the east side... but the attitudes of the employees I dealt with this evening – actually one in particular – have assured that I won't be returning if I can help it. I placed my order on Uber Eats for pickup and drove there when I received the notification that "Your order is probably ready". When I arrived, I advised I had placed an order and the bartender requested I show him the order on the app. Which I did – although he didn't quite seem certain of the process. At that point another employee approached and her attitude was anything but pleasant to me, speaking to me in a way as if she was trying to force herself to be cordial and didn't really want to be. She took over the whole verifying the order on the app and then added "We've been burned before." Next, she stated to me that they needed to see that the order was confirmed. I didn't know what she meant, so I began scrolling on the app and asked what I needed to do. Turns out there was an option to click "I received my order" or something along those lines – and her attitude came to the forefront. She became quite pushy and impatient and told me "You need to click that." I understand wanting to do what's needed to not be scammed, but don't assume the worst of paying customers.
