Enjoyed St.Patrick’s Day. Great entertainment. Sound has really improved in the room. My burger came ‘cold’, fries were warm. I think it probably was a one off, so I told the waitress later after having had some of it. She said she would tell someone. When the bill came there was no compensation or discount. That was very disappointing!
Great Live music Venue! Only the best Bands, food and service
We went for Havana night and the only thing Havana about it was the performers--no themed drink or food or anything. There was someone teaching dance and a live band and they were all amazingly talented and engaging, but the band went on so late it was mostly just sitting waiting. The drinks were so watered down and the food is very salty and overcooked. Service was okay. I feel so bad for the performers who were amazing and there were some incredible dancers on the floor, but with the food and drinks so bad I would not go again.
A group of us were at Stonewalls recently to see Freedom Train play. The place is a great venue for music! We've been a couple of times now. This most recent time though was a disappointment. I believe there is new ownership and they definitely aren't impressing us with the menu. Food was horrible! 4 of the group had fish and chips, one had soggy fish, one had batter so thick and over fried she couldn't eat it. 2 of us had chicken tenders. They were a joke! They were just the cheapest chicken fingers you can buy at the grocery store! They weren't "tossed" in anything but the breading they came out of the box in. $18 for 4 chicken fingers and a few fries is a total rip-off. Sweet potato fries were good though. Can't say too much about the service, when you could get it. They were way under-staffed for a sold out crowd so there was a wait for beverages. My recommendation is go somewhere else to eat before going into Stonewalls for the entertainment. If you get hungry through the evening, order sweet potato fries.
Our server was awesome, the music playing in the background was awesome, but the food was disappointing. The burger is pretty tasty but the caesar salad it comes with is just chopped iceberg lettuce with a few croutons and those fake crunchy bacon bits sprinkled on top. We also got the Irish nachos which also weren't great. They also had those fake crunchy bacon bits sprinkled on top. The food was overloaded with fake crunchy bacon bits which are gross. We'll be back for the drinks & music but will not be back for the food.
Awesome venue for live bands. Came here to see Sandman, a Metallica cover band. Had the Stonewall burger, which was really good. There is a vegan "burger" option. My friends had chicken tenders and a salad. Food over all was a solid 4 stars. The fries could have been a little hotter, but the place was at 90% capacity that night, so we understand. Also, Joe, the server's a cool dude. We'll definitely come back in April for the AC/DC cover band.
