This was a huge disappointment. Tiny sides, $7 peach cobber that came in a large container but was mostly empty( see pictures), no sauce for pulled pork sandwich( even though I asked for their Carolina sauce.
Food is good and for some odd reason they are never busy.
I just love everything about this place!
Walk in and stand at a podium to order having to pay in advance and given a clipboard with a receipt and a pen so you can leave a tip. You’re then told to “walk over there, get your cup and help yourself”. I sat at a table and my food came in a styrofoam container with napkins all inside a to-go bag. On the exterior of the bag and the styrofoam box were seasoning fingerprints, couldn’t he at least take the gloves off to bring the bag or change his gloves? I was served at the podium by the store manager so I guess he presumed I wouldn’t be eating in hence getting everything in a to-go bag. So what tip was earned and who in their right mind tips without any provided services or prior to any service at all? The food was ‘ok’. I got the 2 tacos and a side, which I chose fries. Pork taco and a brisket taco which were both good and the meat was very lean. The fries were another thing totally. They were WAY over-seasoned, so much that you could even taste the sugar in the seasoning. They were inedible and were good for nothing but the trash. Spent $15 which isn’t too bad for the amount of food I got but it’s sad that it’s pretty much a fast food restaurant now. I always give a restaurant a second chance and this was that chance. Won’t be going back again. Super disappointed as I used to love Sticky Fingers pre-Covid.
What started out a a not great experience quickly turned into a great experience. When we first walked in we were given menus and told to sit where we wanted. After waiting for someone to wait on us, I finally went up and asked. The process is to order at the register which was not clearly relayed. Once the manager, Melanie got involved it was a game changer. The food was delicious and she personally came to apologize to us, and offer us a gift to make it right. She also went out of her way to help in another way, but I’m not going to say how because I don’t want people to take advantage. Just know we will be going back!
I was in the mood for a pulled pork sandwich and it has been like 5 years since I had Sticky Fingers. They closed the one in Summerville. You either like it or havent tried it yet. Has outdoor seating and ample parking Parking: Out front Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Food was delicious and service was great!
Wonderful if you have little kids, free kids meal with adult purchase everyday. Ends up being cheaper for our family of 6 than chipotle. With more food.
