Sterling Pig Brewery

I should say from the beginning that I only had beer so I can't comment on the food. Stirling Pig is a cool little brewery/restaurant located in Media. The ambience is a lot of gray, black, exposed metal. There is a restaurant area and a bar area. The beer is decent if not exceptional. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. In addition to beer they do have cocktails that sounded good from the descriptions. It was a neat little place. I hope to come back and try the food some time.

We really love the pig but they need to find more staff for weekend nights! The whole experience was kinda odd. It took like 5 minutes for us to be greeted by a host and then when we put in our name for an outside table and waited, when they called us that it was ready, they just told us to go outside and find an open table instead of walking us there. The only available table was dirty and had leftover check/dishes from the previous party but we grabbed it anyway. We had to flag down a waitress to tell her we wanted to order after sitting there for 15 minutes. It was obvious they were short staffed. We really like the food and beer and will be back to support our local brewery, just expected more.

The service and beer were excellent. Really enjoyed the cherry stout and my waiter was great. The food is awful though. The pulled pork has zero seasoning and looks and tastes like it was boiled. I traded it for the chicken Alfredo and ended up with a stomach ache.

I just had to come on here and say how impressed and happy I was with the service, food, beer and professionalism of the staff. We held a party tonight for my birthday and Steve, the manager did a fantastic job coordinating everything and gave us a room to ourselves on short notice which was amazing. The bar staff was super friendly and accommodating and the food was incredible. I enjoyed all the beers I had and all the accommodations made for us were fantastic. We stop by every Friday afternoon and really enjoy not only the food but our service. Meg is a wonderful bartender. She is very personable and funny.

Bartender continued to serve liquor to a drunk patron who started to become verbally + physically aggressive with other patrons. Will not go back. Bartender unapologetic.
