Stepping Stones

I’ve never been here before and after a busy 2 days at Alton Towers decided to have a meal here. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome, the staff were very friendly and attended to us quickly. Very accommodating for my son, he wanted a bigger portion of a child’s meal and the staff were very helpful. The food was delicious and served nice and hot. Would 100% go back here again if I’m in the area.

We went to The Stepping Stones as we stayed at the Travelodge next door. Great food and service, Beth was amazing and catered to our every need. Highly recommend

Visited The Stepping Stones today and yesterday after staying in the Travelodge next door. The food is delicious, well worth the money, the atmosphere is nice and calming too. The service is what stood out to me; I have a gluten intolerance and the gentleman that served us yesterday took the time to come and explain the gluten-free menu to me and reassure me of any queries I might have had. When visiting tonight, we were served by Beth who was a ray of sunshine and made our visit very enjoyable. Thank you to all the Stepping Stones staff!

Big sized restaurant have eaten here before bit pricey but nice food and drink good portion sizes

We were staying at Travel Lodge Ashbourne and thought we would have dinner here as its next door to the hotel. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. They were busy when we arrived but the staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure the customers were happy. The food was delicious and the price wasn't to bad. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back when in the area again.

I genuinely think it is important to take a few moments to give an account of your pleasant experiences. I had the pleasure of coming to the Stepping Stone albeit not under the best of circumstances, today we bury a good friend and we have travelled from the Channel Islands and Scotland respectively. We arrived after the food serving time. The young waitress was apologetic and professional but having not ate for most of the day I explained our reasons for asking. The young waitress understood and said she would ask the chef and with the utmost respect and professionalism said that they would be more than happy to serve us. Can I just say that the staff were absolutely fantastic and were so lovely. The food was excellent also, I can’t forget that. The Guinness was excellent also. Thank you so much, you are a credit to Stepping Stones.
