"Steak Teppei" began in Japan during the 1970's at a time when steak was considered food for the rich. Hoping to give the opportunity of enjoying steak to young people at reasonable prices, the original founder opened his own restaurant "Steak Teppei". Our current chef was one of the valued customers of the original Steak Teppei. One of his most treasured memories was that of dining at the original Steak Teppei on weekends with his family. After working as a chef and learning culinary skill, he was hired by the original owner to join Steak Teppei.
