Drive through was quick and double steak burger with cheese and fries hit the spot!
So run down since the hurricane. It's practically self serve with the kiosk and drink station, having to pick up our tray. Bathroom was so dirty. My husband's butter burger was drenched with juices/butter that we had to use three napkins just to sop it up. It dripped all over the place and the bun was completely soggy. Wouldn't want to complain at the time because we were the only ones in there. The shake was delicious and the burgers other than the wetness was good. It's just we probably won't be returning.
This particular Steak n Shake is always dirty, and the staff is rude. If you are too busy for customer service, then schedule more employees.
I love this place little nostalgic but damn great hamburgers and fantastic milkshakes.. you can't go wrong.
Witnessed a young man, going up and beyond his duties as an employee – too bad, the world doesn’t have more of these kind of young gentlemen
Took my granddaughters for a late lunch. The place was empty and it has an automated ordering system. Felt like a ghost town. I think there were a total of 4 employees on shift. The place is not kept clean. The floors felt slippery, I'm assuming with grease because they were not wet. The chairs were sticky, my husband went to the bathroom to get paper towels to wipe them down. He said the bathroom was in bad shape too. Too bad, it used to be a great place to take the family. The kids asked not to return.
