Stateside Waffle House

Love this place! Fab waffles and wonderful friendly service! Best waffles this side of the Atlantic!!! Boys versus waffles....the waffles won!

Our first visit to Stateside Waffle House, and it won't be the last. We had waffles that were on a £9 Two-for-one deal. First you choose a base, we chose Maple syrup. Then you choose a topping, I had Bueno and Mum had a berry assortment, we both had whipped cream on the side. The waffles were fluffy and light and the portion size was very generous. Delivery and takeout are available. Hot drinks, flurries, frappés, burgers, fries and hotdogs are also available. We will be returning to try the savoury items on the menu. Parking: There is a paid car park nearby and there is plenty of street parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately these premises are not currently wheelchair accessible as there is a high step just inside the door.

Wow! What a little gem! Definitely brightens up a cold Winter afternoon. We opted for waffles. I had waffle with Maple syrup, Strawberries, Blueberries and squirty cream. My son had waffle with Maple syrup, Bueno, and squirty cream. They were on offer at £9 for the two! Normally it would have been priced at £12 for the two, which would still be very good value. Tony and Taylor were friendly, helpful and gave terrific service. The menu is extensive, with sundaes, shakes, cakes, hot and cold drinks, savoury food, all very, very, reasonably priced. They also do the food to takeaway. Parking may be found at the front, if not there are two reasonably priced car parks within a few minutes walk. Give it a go folks, we'll be trying a savoury option next.

Ordered take out, Mac and Cheese and the strawberry Nutella Waffle from here. Left a note specifically requesting something and it was done, which is not the case with evey restaurant. The mac and cheese was quite tasteless, the cheese on top adding the only salt to the whole dish. I was quite disappointed with that. The waffle was a bit thick but fresh nonetheless and still quite fluffy. Generously covered with strawberries and nutella, it was good. Wouldn’t mind ordering the waffle again. Eaten here several times, Just love the place the staff and the food. Might only be a small compact place, But is delightful Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options, But never tried them Kid-friendliness: They have a good food selection that kids will love Very clean place Wheelchair accessibility: You can easily get a wheelchair in But Toileting is not good for the disabled, This to me is the onlty downside of this place

Had another party last week here for my 12 year old daughter and the place is great. Great price and the owner is very accommodating. Certainly recomend for a kiddies party. Upstairs space and use of speaker system is great. Thanks again.

Just had my daughters birthday party here she absolutely loved it all the staff were brilliant highly recommend and the waffles were fantastic
