Stopped here yesterday during the day for a drink, the younger lady who took our order was friendly. They're busy here so I'm aware it can be stressful. When we got my drink I realized I didn't get a straw. We're from Pennsylvania and I know straw laws are different in other places. My husband went up to ask for a straw, saying excuse me to another customer who was waiting for her drink. The older woman asks "can I help you?" almost my like husband was bothering her, not supposed to be there. She may not have realized he had just ordered a drink and received it, you know a customer. He says yes do you have straws, she's like yeah, he says could I have one please...completely matching her rude, bad attitude with opposite. She takes a straw, goes right past him and when he goes to take it says "wait a second, this isn't for you" and hands it to the other customer...listen, I get it. She may think my husband was feeling "entitled" to get his straw, for his drink, that he ordered, before this other customer but that's an inside issue for her. If she reads this she might know exactly what I'm talking about, or she doens't and she's just a rude old lady working at a Starbucks in the mall (nothing wrong with that) and feeling like crapping on other people. We had no problem waiting for a straw but make points on your own time. Whatever moment she was having came across weird, rude and just dumb. Congratulations on trying to prove point and looking stupid. The coffee was pretty watered down.
