Every time I have come to this location - my drink has been made incorrectly. No matter what, and it has been extremely frustrating, especially since coming to get a coffee is a treat/reward. I commute an hr to Denver, and there have been multiple times where I left and realized my drink was not even what I ordered. Some of the staff is nice, but sometimes they seem really flustered and agitated already at 6am. Lately I’ve had to revert to just ordering a hot cup of water and using my own teabags because, they can’t get that wrong (one morning I was handed ice water). I just feel like it’s not that difficult to listen and be respectful and kind when your customer says, “hey could you fix this for me? I have a long drive, and I’d like it how I ordered it. Thank you” The only reason I am commenting, is because i feel like this store could benefit greatly if someone nicely let them know how these small flaws add up into losing customers…I was a barista for 8 long years on morning shifts - so I understand better than anyone how it can seem annoying when a customer asks for something to be fixed- but it should be done with a smile. This morning 12/7/2023 I went through and I ordered a Venti Hot Cappuccino, I asked if three packets of honey could be stirred into my espresso while it was hot so it would flavor my entire drink. I asked for breve, and (I know I know a cappuccino has foam, and I am greatly aware of that.) I asked for less foam than usual, more drink. I asked specifically if I could have about an inch of foam. The barista handed me the drink and I could tell right away it was an entire Venti cup of foam and an inch of liquid. I politely asked if she could fix that and she did, but she was aggravated that I even asked her to fix it. She came back to the window and told me I should just order a latte next time if I didn’t want any foam. Which is so ridiculously annoying and rude I can’t even begin to describe how annoying it is to be talked down to like I don’t know what I am doing when I knew exactly what I wanted and was SPECIFIC. It’s just extremely frustrating to spend money on a service, and then be ignored, and then upset when asked to fix it to what originally asked for. But the most aggravating part is after all that I take a sip and there’s literally no honey in my drink. At that point I just had to leave because there were people behind me and I wanted to be courteous of their time as a customer. Please do better, please tell your baristas not to tell people how and what they should order and just make their drink like they ask, unless you cannot make it - because you are not allowed. It’s yet another day of me not getting the correct drink I paid for and it makes me never want to come back. Please have a staff meeting or something. Thank you for taking the time to listen and accept criticism.
I still miss the very berry refresher. Haven't found anything I like to replace it. However, I love the peppermint mocha and the iced green tea with half the pumps of syrup. Nothing compares to the very berry refresher.
