I met 5 friends here, and we had a cosy corner, excellent service. I had a delicious slice of banana bread with lurpak butter and a large white americano which was as good as a lunch. None of us had any dietary restrictions, but they had all the different milks and were careful to make sure we had what we needed for an excellent time. We were also given a coffee tasting of the new Spring blend coffee coming soon, with an informative talk and chocolate and brownies to help it be a special time for us all to enjoy. We will be back very soon. The parking was easy and unlimited, which was just as well as we were over 3 hours!
I’ve been in twice recently. The first a few weeks ago where myself and my mother were the only customers in the shop and had to wait for staff to finish their conversation about finding poo down the alley near their house before we were acknowledged. The second time was yesterday, once again had to wait for the staff to finish their conversation before I was acknowledged and served. Not only this, but I ordered take away and was given my drinks in mugs I informed the barista it was take away and then the lady that served me asked if was because she had not written it, the one making the drink then stated “no it was me because I just didn’t pay attention to it” all the while they were having personal conversations whilst making the drinks and trying to decide amongst themselves how early is too early to start closing down. I was in there at 2:30pm. The actual building has been brilliantly decorated it’s just a shame it’s constantly let down by staff time and time again. There is a time and place for personal conversations in ALL work environments and it is NEVER in front of the customers.
I got a free drink cos I used my points for a free drink Parking: Didn't park for very long but we got dropped off some people went somewhere but we didn't we stayed in Starbucks and had a nice drink some people had a site to eat but I had a free drink Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps it was all level and I think it was very wheelchair disability because you could easily go around in a wheelchair to go to the toilet
We enjoy going to this starbucks location. It's close to home and always clean and tidy. The staff are always friendly, and if you have a question, they know what they're talking about, which goes a long way. Lots of drink options whether or not you like/ fancy coffee or something else. Dietary restrictions: They offer a variety of dairy free products, just ask if you're unsure, the staff are knowledgeable. Wheelchair accessibility: There is wide enough doors for wheelchair users, and plenty of space to sit at tables if you need to remain in your wheelchair.
Great Place in a right spot
Although new, needs to be better. Stale cake not worth eating, rude service from cashier, has been better. The ambience of the place and it is nice to sit in and drink. Just a few changes required.
Great addition to the area and the staff are great. Nice big shop and normally not to busy, easier to get to and get parked than on Gapton retail park. Plus they will make my eggnog frap !
