Absolutely delicious! The food is fresh, well spiced with complex flavors. The tandoori chicken was tender and juicy. We paired it with their goat cheese naan and it was heavenly. The service is always friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is casual but the food is served elegantly. We want to come back for their lunch buffet to try more of their dishes.
Worst indian/Nepalese food i have ever eaten. Very bad and awful service. Avoid going here
the chicken was completely raw. I tried to call & let the restaurant know but they essentially told me since im the only complaint that came in, next time i order i can let know know i like my chicken "overcooked." in order to get my money back, i had to go through DoorDash to get a refund - and they only refunded the chicken. I didnt feel safe eating anything i ordered because im a recent cancer survivor and my immune system is compromised. very poor experience from this restaurant and DoorDash. will not be ordering again.
I come here for the bugs in my food.
I had a great experience over here. Especially the person named Daman was very humble. Had a great conversation with that guy. Talking about food, just like the way I thought. Best food I ever had in California. Moreover, the environment is very good, peaceful and hygienic. Would love to visit again. Want to recommend this place to everyone. Go without any second thought. Thank you guys for the great service.
I feel bad giving this place 3 stars, because it can be great, but it is inconsistent. Food quality is just a little inconsistent, and sometimes they don't make it nearly spicy enough even when asking for it very hot. Service varies - the wait staff is generally nice, but can be way too passive and not check in at all after bringing the food. There may be a big difference in the takeout vs dine-in quality - have only gotten takeout once here, but it was not good: smaller portions with fewer vegetables, almost no spice, eggplant was undercooked, and the mutter paneer had very few peas(!). Really hoping this place can get more reliably good
This was once my favorite place for Indian food but after today I won't ever go back. We had the buffet and while there was a good variety to pick from the food was mostly bland. The service was awful it was as it the people who worked there really did not want us there (we were the only two people there.) Not sure what happened to this place but there are way better places in sacramento to get good Indian food. I seriously think they should just shut down. Vegetarian options: There were plenty vegetarian options at the buffet but they were not very good.
Ordered food from here twice. The food is okay but I’ve had way better for the price. My real problem is the service. I don’t expect jolly service but I expect respect. Both times I went I got the feeling that I wasn’t welcomed. The second time she asked “are you okay?” as if there was something wrong with me bc I was swaying to the music. Very weird person that gives an off vibe. Food was also luke warm the second time I ordered from here. I recommend trying somewhere else. Edit: coming back to say I finally found a good Indian food place in Sacramento. Highly recommend Bombay bar & grill.
