Stanza Italian Bistro & Wine Bar

I'll preface that the atmosphere and service are really good. I very frequently order Italian meals, so I was surprised by the pasta dishes. I had the linguine all'aragosta e gamberetti. It had a sweetness to it that was almost distracting so I ended up sending it back. I then had the lasagna which was just okay. Our table ordered the Frito misto appetizer which was not bad, but a lot of batter was falling off the food. My friends rated their food ~6/10 for the rigatoni alla bolognese and the 9- grain pasta. Horace, the drinks were very good. So overall, the food was just okay but everything else was nice.

Really lovely place. Nice atmosphere. Staff was helpful. Enjoyed my pasta.

Birthday party here it was super

This is a spacious restaurant - seating is comfy and you're not rubbing elbows in the literal sense with other diners. The menu here is very good - I'm a vegetarian, so this checks the boxes for me. But there is something for everyone - and portions are quite large - so bring a healthy appetite when you visit. I'm a regular customer here. The staff is wonderful and eager to please. Enjoy!

Amazing pasta dishes and get the cheesecake!

The food was amazing. Portions aren’t huge (its a nice place so it’s to be expected). The cheesecake was to die for. Must have.

It's an honor to work in a place where respect from your bosses and colleagues, I have never felt so comfortable and happy in an elegant, healthy place with good food and nice hard-working people... I am soooo grateful for working there.

Outstanding food, cocktails, and service. This has quickly become one of our favorite scratch Italian restaurants in Salt Lake. The Arancini are my favorite, but it’s hard to miss with any of the pasta dishes. I had the gnocchi and it was fantastic. You can’t go wrong with any of their desserts either. Stanza is rarely busy and the staff are always incredibly gracious and friendly.

My wife and I chose this establishment for our Valentine’s dinner, enticed by their special 5-course offering. Each course surpassed our expectations, delivering an exquisite blend of flavors that delighted our palates. The ambiance of the restaurant only added to our experience, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that was perfect for such a romantic occasion. Overall, our Valentine’s date was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional culinary journey and the enchanting setting provided by this wonderful venue.
