Tucked along Georgia Avenue NW in Park View surrounded by top-notch restaurants, St. Vincent Wine stands on its own. Attending a brunch event on their outdoor patio, my wife and I left impressed. For $40, they leave a bucket of mimosas at your table. Order their pastries, especially the sesame biscuit with their honey butter and jam. If you want savory, the mushroom and goat cheese egg toast and local farm frittata were excellent. But their fried chicken with sausage gravy stole the savory show. For sweet, their orange cream cheese stuffed French toast and sumac strawberry waffles were excellent. The texture of both are nice too. On Sunday afternoons they have live music upstairs and their beautifully-designed space below with a wine shop. My wife and I both agree that St. Vincent Wine may have the best brunch in D.C., a city of brunch. (Disclaimer: I attended a brunch for "influencers" that was comped, but views are my own.)
Truly the perfect experience for our surprise engagement party The whole staff were incredible and we had a wonderful time. Thank you everyone!
Fantastic Mardi Gras celebration! Incredible jambalaya and even better music.
A not so hidden gem along Georgia Ave. Great food and drinks, and live jazz when the weather permits.
Wonderful experience here! Great service, food came out super fast, everything was delish (get the caviar dip). The fondue was fun as well and Mondays are a great deal with half off fondue! Really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.
