I try to go here everytime I'm in Salt Lake City. Nice restaurant with great food and beer, and in a good location.

Was served by Jaybird. Cool guy, sweet moves. They also offer tasters and smaller servings, which is a good way to try the local beers

Canadians please boycott this business. The manager turned us away for not having passports to have a beer with lunch. Apparently they don’t know about or don’t care to have the technology to scan Canadian IDs. We went down the street to another pub and the waitress had no problem scanning our IDs, and told us it has been quite a while since the needed to ask for passports. How ignorant (or maybe plain stupid) do you have to be in 2024 to turn away a group of 55+ Canadians because they don’t have passports with them? Well written response but isn’t it odd that the state liquor stores also scan and accept our ID? I think this is what you are missing, from the DABS website, which explains you are only required to check ID if someone appears to be younger than 35. Some place still require their staff to scan everyone, but if I look over 35 and the scan of my Canadian ID confirmes it, they have done their due diligence. Only if I look under 35 do I need to provide ID acceptable to the State. Do I need identification to buy alcohol in Utah? You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase, possess or be provided with any alcoholic beverage in Utah. Therefore, proper identification is required to prove age before a person may obtain an alcohol product. In all bars and bar areas in restaurants, a patron who appears to be younger than 35 years old must also have their identification checked by an approved scanner. If you clearly appear to be older than 35 years old, you might not need to provide identification. Some businesses will always require an identification check as their business policy. It is best practice to have your I.D. ready if you are planning on ordering an alcoholic beverage. Acceptable forms of identification include: A valid passport A valid U.S. driver’s license A valid U.S. military identification card with a date of birth and a photo A valid U.S. state issued identification card. A driving privilege card allows an individual the privilege to operate a motor vehicle in Utah, however these cards are not valid for proof of age. Vertical driver's license should be inspected for date of birth. Find more information on acceptable forms of identification.

Great draft beer list, good food, friendly service. Make a reservation, even on Monday night it was a wait for a table.

Called to check in about our dogs joining on the patio & unfortunately their patio is closed for the season (no big deal) but being as we are traveling via car across the country, I asked the gentleman who answered the phone if he was aware of any places he’d recommend (that would have an open patio) - he proceeded to say no and I should use the internet since it’s such a useful tool and hung up - very rude and unwelcoming. A simple no would suffice.

As my previous review stated, I did come back when in SLC! Still a great place for food and drinks and fet togethers. They even met my dietary challenges easily with great plant based foods- and not just salads. I will continue to come back here

Came here with a group of 7 on a Sunday evening and were seated promptly. Service was friendly and quick, and they even let us split our checks individually which was really nice considering the size of the group. The food was excellent, I got the jambalaya, and the beer was good too (I had the Kolsch). Vegetarian options: There are quite a few vegetarian options on the menu (a house-made veggie burger, for one)
