Bustling on a nice Saturday morning. And I enjoy that.
Decent coffee shop, the Mocha I ordered was extremely good reminded me of the cappuccino type drinks when I traveled around Europe, and the baristas were quite busy however, they were friendly, and had excellent communication skills. Unfortunately I expected Spyhouse was going to be better than I thought specifically the prices are way more than Dunn Bros or Caribou, and when I was almost going to order a standard black iced tea it was $5 for a medium (I said no thanks), and the baked goods don't have nut free options it's a bummer because I am allergic to tree nuts. This place will not be somewhere I will be going to often since there are more affordable and slightly better spots that have nut-free options, and overall, I still do give this place four stars for the good customer service and tasty coffee. If the prices were lower and Spyhouse had nut-free options for the baked goods I would be coming here way more often and giving Spyhouse a full five stars.
Little slice of heaven. First time here and will definitely make my list of frequents. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Had an Americano. Great job Spyhouse.
Love love love Spyhouse Coffee! I have to get my coffee there whenever I come to St. Paul.
Absurdly over priced. Internet search for fresh roasted coffee returns their shop. They don't roast on site -though the errant search result isn't their fault. I grabbed a bag of coffee (and that's a 10 oz bag, no less) And ordered a cup of drip coffee. TWENTY SEVEN DOLLARS not including tip. Meanwhile, a competitor within 2 minutes drive will sell you a pound, roasted on site, for around $14. I won't make this mistake again. PS staff was nice and cordial.
Great coffee shop to work or read, but not very excited with how the prices have climbed
Fantastic americanos and lattes! Baristas were friendly and welcoming! Perfect for studying or work!
