I'm giving this place 3 starts because of the awful customer service I just experienced. I had just entered the store and was choosing my scone of choice when another women walked in behind me. I walked to the cash register and stated the scone that I would like, and while the young gentleman went and got my scone, the woman behind the counter proceeded to ring up the person behind me. I literally stood there waiting to be rung up, and she looked at me and would not even let the young man behind her ring me up even though I was first in line. I even said "is the woman behind me going before me?" And the woman gave me a blank stare as the woman behind me scooted forward and checked out. I wasnt able to get the woman's name but she was short, white, and skinny in nature. It would have received less stars, save for the wonderfull customer service that I received by the young African American gentleman who rang me up, and who looked just as taken aback as I. I've never been more appalled by lack of customer service and blatant rudeness. I doubt I will go here again.
Lots of in-house baked goods. Smells and tastes wonderful.
This is a local bakery at the junction of Rt. 28 and Quince Orchard Blvd in west Gaithersburg. Run by a small staff, there is an incredible variety of bread and pastries. During the holidays there are special breads, rolls and pies. Orders are taken online. The area in front of the counter but people are courteous and wait their turns. There is no indoor seating and just two small tables in front of the store. Open 7 days a week, with reduced hours on the actual day of a holiday.
the bread was always good here. I stopped by a couple Mondays ago. Unfortunately the person behind the counter was too immersed in her phone call to wait on me. I waited several minutes while she chatted in Spanish to someone through her bluetooth earbuds. Finally I said to her I guess you don't want my business and walked out:( too bad because I have always thought they had great breads
Omg!! You'll put on some weight just looking at the delicious treats and baked goodies. Awesome
Went to my old favorite on Friday afternoon and was very disappointed to bring home a stale challah and two stale muffins. Is this place under new management? If so, they need to fix whatever is wrong. Also, the young woman behind the counter was sullen and unfriendly. Something has changed.
