I am not one to leave reviews, but be cautious. This place is very Overpriced. I spent $250 on 2 Filets & 2 cocktails. Our Steak was was over cooked, it smelt like raunchy seafood the entire time as well, I can not imagine getting seafood from this place. Service was very average, never was given a water refill the entire dinner. Steak knives came out a bit late, and bread was served just before our meal arrived. I have no problem paying $250 for a meal if it is done right, but this place just missed. Would much rather spend $250 at Meat Market in Hyde Park then travel for this place. I am really not to sure how this place has received a 5 star review. Snake River Farms has better cuts of meat then this place was using. Pretty disappointed.
Ein O-Saft mit 60% Eis ist schon für den Preis eine Frechheit da kann die Aussicht auch nicht hinwegtäuschen
Feb 2024: The entire hotel has been renovated, and so has the restaurant, I guess, although it still looks pretty much the same. They did away with the old menu, which was really great, I'm so disappointed to see all the things that I loved are gone. The new menu does not leave much for vegetarians, and I think the prices have doubled or tripled. I really think $62 for sea bass and $72 for an 8 ounce filled is a bit much, considering you still have to buy the sides that are like $18 for squash. I'm attaching the menu. The food was pretty good, not "out of this world" but good and tasty. Service was good, not superior. Attaching pic of the house salad and ciopino. The views, of course, are stunning, so I guess that's what you are paying for, but I liked it better before the "improvements". Feb 2020: It's always great! We have tried all of these several times: Chilean sea bass, lobster pasta, salmon steak, all the other steaks, it's always great! The dinner rolls were stale last night but anyone can have a bad day one off and everything else was great so I'm still giving them a 5. Vegetarian options: They have one choice only.
came here for the first time and everything was amazing. Dia or Tia? I forgot how to spell it but he was a WONDERFUL server. 10/10 would be back just for the food and service! Definitely made my night with a special request too for me and my now partner!
Been here a few times and food chef seems to have changed. Food was not as good as previous times. Views and ambiance is always great.
First thing to note, you absolutely need a reservation if you want to eat on the spinning platform. There are about 3 bar tables that are first come first serve in the middle, but that doesn't rotate and they filled up QUICK. Luckily we were early enough that we did get one. Parking is $7 so walk if you can. The view is really pretty, so it definitely has ambiance for a special event. I really liked my food, my husband was more lukewarm about his. It was crazy expensive (over $100 for 2 appetizers and 2 sides) but places like this usually are. Our waiter was very attentive and in general we still enjoyed ourselves.
Our last night in town and wanted to try something on the beach. Didn't disappoint, great views. Quality food and good service. Make a reservation and expect $$$ pricing.
Amazing views and ambience. The spinning rooftop was unique and cool. If the food was better it would be perfect! But you are paying ALOT for just average food. If you come here for the views and experience then you will love it!
