Don’t let the 5 star review fool you, that was my mistake. I ordered a cake a month ago; paid the deposit and everything. My pickup was confirmed via email by Deborah for today between 10am and 1pm. I get to the location, which is a person’s house and there is no signage or anything on the door indicating that this was a cake business. I should’ve known this experience would be terrible. I knock on the door; the lady doesn’t greet me but looks at me like I am the police or something. I said I’m here to pick up a cake. The lady goes “from who?”...so I’m thinking am I in the right place? I told her - Deborah Franklin; she goes “Oh but I don’t have any cakes but come in”. So I told her I confirmed a cake for today and she goes “Oh well my computer crashed” so I have no cakes today. If your computer crashed, you don’t have a backup system? A calendar? My order was confirmed via email, an email can be accessed from anywhere. Plus I double confirmed before I got to the location. On top of that, she was not apologetic & didn’t offer a solution. She was very combative. Basically, her attitude was- Her computer crashed so oh well, what did I want her to do about it. On top of that, she has no mask on. I got my refund and got out of there! I understand things happen, but the least she could’ve done was apologize and offer a solution. I will never order from here again!
It seems like this business may very well be fine, but they are disorganized. If you choose to use them, you have to stay on top of them to actually provide service. Maybe a few extra calls to make sure they remember, and be very clear about expectations. From the pictures, they seem great. But from my experience, I was very disappointed with their service. I ordered a cake through Speciality Cakes two weeks in advance, and provided all the relevant information. I was assured the cake would be made. Then, today, on my wife's birthday, when I called to ask about delivery or pick-up, the woman said she simply forgot because she was busy, and that I should have called to remind her. That is unprofessional and irresponsible to depend on your customers to call you and remind you to provide the service you agreed to provide. Then, she said she wouldn't provide a service to someone she did not receive a 50% deposit for---which she did not mention when I made the order two weeks prior. The woman seemed genuinely apologetic, and I know business can be tough when things were busy. However, the result is a very disappointed customer. She provided no assurance of benefit on future orders, or hurrying to help, or anything to make up for the failure. To me, that is a glaring issue in a business. Be careful when using this business for important events.
My wife and I have birthdays a week apart and ended up ordering from th same baker. Both cakes we beautifully decorated and taste AMAZING. She was very kind and professional. I truly amazed by the presentation and blow away by the taste. Will be using you services for every event
The cake that was provided. Was exactly what we wanted, the decoration, the entire cake was delicious and very much satisfying, we will definitely recommend, and help promote this business!!

I emailed about getting a custom cake done. And the response was "sorry im booked." It felt extremly unprofesional.
Ms. Debra is amazing! Everything came out so beautiful and delicious!!!!! and just how my daughter wanted it for her baby shower!
