Tiny but cute little place! It’s not quite what we were expecting based on the modernity of the advertisements we’d seen. Once you step inside, it’s sort of like a time capsule. And in some ways, felt like we were just going to grandma’s house to visit and she made us lunch. Very homey and quaint. There are only 4 (or was it 3?) booths and a few barstools. But we were the only ones dining in at that moment, so it was fine. Would come back and recommend for a different experience than you’ll find elsewhere.
Great burgers for a fair price
Step into 1952 when you enter the Sparta Grill. Look around, soak it in, there aren't many of these places left. Great hometown service and food done the way it's supposed to be done. Just the way you order it. This is MY Hometown and I Love it.
Hamburger, double cheeseburger, (2) drinks + tip + tax = $20. My money was well spent! Plus we had a fun conversation with lovely Miss Mary. Heading back in a couple of weeks.
Small town diner with great burgers, tots and service.
Stopped in here with my son after wandering around in the afternoon heat. Great spot for lunch and the lady who served us was very friendly and welcoming. Cheeseburger was very yummy and the old posters on the wall were fun to read while we waited. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick bite and cheery service!
Passing through town and I searched online for the best burger around and it led me here - the burger and fries were super good! And the sweet tea was the best I've had in a long time. Definitely worth stopping by this small little diner! I loved it here!
