In Bournemouth on holiday, we parked on the side of the road alongside other cars and a woman with a van (who worked there) purposely blocked us in. When we were going to move the car we had to ask the van to move and she was disgustingly rude saying we shouldn’t park in front of her premises. Nothing was particularly blocked as she could comfortably park the van, proving this when she got in the van and moved it more neatly into the space, unblocking our car. She didn’t actually move the car out of the space, which was unhelpful but there was enough space for her van evidently. We got an earful of how she’s the only one running the pub and pure rudeness, telling us repeatedly to “hurry up” making us feel very rushed! Two of us thanked her and she completely ignored us. If this person is running that pub then I feel bad for whoever gets served as she represented that company very poorly. We will never set foot in that pub thanks to her. Just no need for how rude she was when we’re clearly new to the area and haven’t done anything actually wrong. Especially how there’s no signage to say you can’t park there. Clearly having a bad day and taken it out on some innocent strangers.
