I’ve had bbq around the country. I’m very picky. This is hands down the best bbq in Minneapolis! Great flavors. Incredibly nice staff!

Just tried to order at their counter and they refused to take my order. Said they had too many orders already... LIKE WHAT? That was their only explanation... I have never had a place refuse my order. Today is 2/24 around noon. I have also been other days where they just have a sign they are gone taking a break... I waited 15 20 minutes and no one came back. I hope the owner sees this because I specifically drove to the place to order.

This little restaurant was great. It’s located inside the midtown Global market building, along with other food vendors. Mr. Robinson and Mr. Marshall were outstanding. Took care of us really well. We had a lot to eat and recommend just about everything. The pork tips were a bit dry, but their spicy BBQ sauce was on point. Ribs, excellent. Brisket, excellent. We had their million dollar wings and be careful, when they say wings, they give you all the section of wings. They do not scrimp on that so make sure you don’t over order like we did ! The collard greens were on point . The black eyed peas needed something, maybe a touch more salt, but couldn’t put my finger on it. They even brought out their brisket chili for us to taste test. It was delicious. It looks like they have it on special every once in a while so if it’s there the day you go, highly recommend that you try a little bowl. It was good. Just spicy enough and chili flavor came through. Great job guys!

Went for the collard green and arrived they were out of green, macaroni I asked the Lady when do you plan on having them she had an attitude and told me when she can cut them and clean them… it was 130pm how are you going to cook them and have them ready for today

I work here at the Midtown global market. And I’m telling y’all this place has the best brisket I’ve ever had in my life! I mean slap yo mama good lol. The brisket chili is off the chain, the catfish is the bomb, and everything goes really well with every side you can choose. If you’re ever in the Midtown global market, make sure you visit this place. And did I mention they also sell smoked meats by the pound, serve meals to feed entire families and lunch specials! You won’t be disappointed !!!

Everything was spot on amazing me and my family wanted some real soul food so we searched around our area and we found them. We were very skeptical but quickly and satisfyingly changed our attitude.... the. Food was Phenomenal and the service in the same ballpark we will be back and Sharing to everyone thank yall
