Loved this place when they were in the Midtown global market. Number one reason where the egg plant fries. Now I have a plate a burnt sticks and the beef skirt steak unrecognizable. Been going downhill for the past three years. I'm done!!!

This place has really gone downhill since it opened. It’s overpriced American-Latino food. I can’t call it Mexican because nothing was spicy. They used to have a better variety on their menu 5 years ago. Our waiter never even asked if our food tasted good. If you’re looking for something more authentic, go to La Poblanita (Lake and 17th) or Colonial (28th and Nicollet). They’re more laidback, but the food is better priced and you can get food with or without spice.

i’m not sure how they managed to make a steak and shrimp burrito look delicious and taste like nothing, but it was a truly disappointing experience. all the food was lacking salt (or any seasoning at all really). the eggplant fries were bURNT. my friend ordered a shrimp sandwich and got dry chicken instead. best part was the cilantro aioli…

Fantastic food!

Love the eggplant fries! Great tacos flavors and margarita varieties. Vegetarian options: Fish and shrimp tacos, not as many protein choices if you avoid animals entirely. Some things available with mushrooms.
