The food is always good and consistent. But if you want a fun experience, ask for David. You won't regret it.
One of the things we enjoy most about this location is our server, David Struebing. We dine here infrequently, but when we do so, we search out and ask for David. Always a welcoming smile, knows what we want to order, usually before we do. We always buy the cornbread muffins, so David bring them to us before we even start eating. John gets the all you can eat baby back ribs, and the occasion is rare when John doesn't have a fresh rack waiting for him to dive into. David is pleasant, laughs with us, shares our personal stories, in short, just like family. The food is always fresh and tasty (I heartily endorse the chicken salad with cheese sandwich). In short, if it is BBQ we crave, to Sonny's and David we go!
This experience was wonderful and our server Mary was very attentive and nice !!!!
Great service and food! Always able to get me in out fast!

The service was outstanding thank you Mary I will ask for her when I come back
Stopped on 3/20 for lunch. Server was nice. This food was what I thought it would be looking at it. It has a taste profile that is more akin to being boiled vs smoked. Sliced brisket = 0/10 absolutely no seasoning and no flavor and had the texture of spongey steak. Yuck. Grilled wings = 2/10 i should have said extra crispy. It would not have made a difference. Spare ribs = 5/10 nothing special. Think ribs from a grocery store. The sauces were 6.5/10. Baked beans = 2/10. What a slatthery mess. Sweet, soupy and no bbq flavor. Broccoli - 7/10. Undercooked, but i’m a broccoli head. Amstel light = 8/10 Banana pudding = 2/10 No banana abd half and cookie in 2 servings. Trash! Chocolate chip cookie = 0/10 I have no idea what that was supposed to be. Server = 10/10 Will never go here again.
Great food!! priced a bit high
