Ordered the Mongolian beef and teriyaki chicken and both were REALLY salty. Like- doused in soy sauce over and over again-salty. Almost inedible. Had to chug a cup of water after one bite. Prices went up, amount of meat in the portions has gone down as well. Disappointed for $35.
My experience was really good! I placed a pickup order for 1 spicy chicken teriyaki with rice and it was ready within 10 minutes of placing the call! The food was also super cheap compared to Teriyaki places more North of Tacoma! It was under $13 for a HUGE portion of white rice and chicken that was hot and ready (also super yummy and saucy)! So good I had to look at it in the car.
The food here is great! I go back time and time again. Never a let down!
I ordered delivery because of the great reviews. I was disappointed. Perhaps it was the time of day. Late lunch/early dinner. The meat was not cooked to a good char. And wasn't great quality in the beef and broccoli. Chewy. The teriyaki chicken was average and the fried rice...blah. The sesame chicken was good, but again not enough to order again. New to Tacoma and working out the kinks...moving on to a new teriyaki place. Wish me luck.
Song's Teriyaki has a nice char on the chicken setting it apart from a texture standpoint, although still tender. The broccoli beef had a sweet marinade such that when you ate the broccoli it tasted more like a treat than a vegetable. All served on a nice bed of rice.
Forgot to take pictures at the restaurant but this was the leftovers spicy chicken teriyaki general taos with vegetables pretty good wasn't very spicy though
Food was bland and not hot and fortune cookie was very stale

What a gift to the world this food is. I wish we had something as close to as good as this place in Utah.
