Smoothie King

This is my first time in a Smoothie King and will be my last. What a rip off, I basically paid almost $6.00 for sugar water. I came here because the Pineapple Mango SK Refresher looked very good and I love Pineapple and Mango. The person that worked there had the personality of a tree stump. I watched her make this so called “refresher” and it was half water, half ice two pumps of mango sugar water and one small scoop of pineapple shaken. It is supposed to be yellow pineapple like color, but the drink was clear with pineapple bits and tasted very much like sugar water, and was only 3/4 full. I do not recommend this drink, nor this establishment. In response to the owner’s comment, you are missing the point of this review. It’s not about drinks containing sugar, it’s about paying $6.00 for sugar water. This drink should have contained more mango and pineapple, not 1/2 cup tap water, 1/2 cup of ice and one squirt of juice and a small amount of pineapple. It didn’t look at all like the picture that is on your menu board. If this is the true SK recipe, I would advise anyone reading this review against getting the SK Refresher drinks.

Update: just walked in to give this place one more chance, the one employee ignored me and continued making out with boyfriend, I left for 15 minutes, came back and order still incomplete. Ordered online, showed up to be told they didn’t have smoothie ingredients that I ordered, and didn’t know how to refund me… horrible service. Emailed requesting refund a week ago, still no response.

The smoothies here are delicious and the employees are great. Vegetarian options: Most of the options are vegetarian Parking: Inside huge Publix plaza. Plenty of free parking Kid-friendliness: Small inside but quiet and never busy Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of parking and easy entrance access

You need more than one employee working at a time

This place is poorly run, the employees act like they’d rather be doing anything other than providing a service. Walked in, no hello, can I help you not even eye contact. Left and came back, same thing. Rude and disgusting.

I love this place, my place to relax and enjoy my smoothie! No one is bothering me! My favorite smoothie is the Hulk with strawberry and Power Punch Plus! The staff are friendly and quick!

Awesome service! Super fast and friendly staff. Definitely the place to go after a baseball win!

Interrupted a girls nap this morning when I walked into the establishment. I was clearly a nuisance just by being a customer. No hello, no thank you, zero words other than “$10.04”. I even asked her how she was and got no response, she gave me my drink and I told her to have a nice day with no response. I was so uncomfortable. My apologies that me trying to get one smoothie for 10 bucks interfered with your morning. I told the girl I’d pray for her because I didn’t know else how to process how terribly I’d been treated. I’ve worked in food service for 10+ years and wouldn’t have the nerve to treat anyone like how I was treated. I get it— life is hard, but sheesh, treat humans like humans.

We just walked out because the girl just paid attention to the cardboard while she was on the phone. She didn't even stop what she was doing until we started walking out.
