Smokey Bones Mentor

What was once a very good nice place is now so-so at best. Run down facilities, worn tables & chairs, food mediocre. Will not be returning Expensive for what received.

Visited today for a late lunch. Ryan was our server. Super fast food and awesome service. Ty!!!!

I ORDER BEFORE EVERYTHING WAS GOOD GAVE THEM A GOOD REVIEW..I ORDER 3/6/24 went through uber eats $25. I ordered same meal different sides.. well the whole ideal of ordering went wrong. The car and the description was all wrong, supposed to be a car and woman.A BIG MOVING TRUCK PULLED UP AND A YOUNG MAN IS APPROACHING MY DOOR. I SAY TO HIM NOTHINGS MATCHING MY PHONE SAY FEMALE & CAR.HE SAIDS CAN YOU JUST GIVE ME YOUR CODE..(WOW)HE passed the bag to me only for me to get in the house to open the container to have burnt ribs with no meat on them and they where hard like bones with sauce on them..so I reached out to uber eats for them to reply they are to check it out but they will make sure the driver and me don't come across each other with food delivery. So I called SMOKEY BONES FOR THEM TO TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT THIRD PARTY. I FEEL DISAPPOINTED AND ROBBED.AND I TIPPED THE DRIVER.. AND THEY GOT PAID FOR THE MEAL AND THE TIP..VERY UPSET AS A CUSTOMER...I HAVE PICTURES AND THE RIBS STILL IN THE CONTAINER..

The restaurant bad a very pleasant atmosphere the service was excellent

Update: Still our favorite restaurant in Mentor! A shout out to Tiffany, she’s friendly, always accurate with our orders, and a terrific smile…a great server and bar tender! Terrific baby back ribs, chicken, sides! Staff is friendly. Good beer and wine selection. Open late. Highly recommended. Update: Still our favorite restaurant in Mentor. Server staff is still outstanding! Food is consistently great! Update: Still our favorite. Chicken is terrific too!

Denzel was my server. He was very polite and congenial. Give him a raise.

The atmosphere is always great here. The wings were piping hot and our server Denzel was super attentive and chill. Would definitely recommend.

Our server Denzel exceeds our expectations every time. He’s so good at what he does. An absolute pleasure! General manager Jy has changed our Mentor location in all the best ways. He checks to make sure everything is going well and genuinely cares. These gentlemen are hard workers. And the food is amazing! All of it. One of our favorite restaurants!
