This is the best bbq I have ever put in my mouth! The pulled pork sandwich is huge and arrived on buttery grilled texas toast . The sauce is on point without being overwhelming. The candied sweet potatoes were cooked to perfection with a hint of sweetness and a dash of nutmeg. The banana pudding is over the top, generously portioned with real bananas and a dollop of whipped cream. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere here is homey and lighthearted. There is even a basket of Ramen by the register for those who need “fast food” because this isn’t it!

Long wait. Food is ok. Can BBQ be too smokey?

The meat was ok a little over seasoned (wings). The vegetables which were collard greens were terrible and the cabbage were way to soft. The vegetables were the reason I went there. A waste!

I had to update my review as it's been a year I've now been visiting this business. The two words that come to mind are consistent excellence. I pretty much always order the four meat plate, and it's never lacking! I ordered on recommendation of my co-worker and it did not disappoint. After 2 years living here I've found my Louisiana spot for BBQ.
