I came to this location today and a girl with multi color hair was making my burrito, and some of the meat in the burrito fell onto the countertop. She put the meat back into my burrito. That is cross-contamination! She proceeds to remake my order with an attitude. She checks me out with an attitude and picks up the store phone to proceed with an order while I’m checking out. She needs to be re-trained on food safety.
It's not a bad place. People were polite. It was clean and not too crowded when I went and food had flavor. I had a veggie bowl which was good
I left my phone on the table and the employees had it for me when I came back! Thank you SO much! Food was delicious! Please add a dairy-free chz option :) Vegetarian options: Please offer some vegan opetion lard in black beans
Hate to leave this review because we love Izzos and have eaten at this location several times before but I hope this review inspires this location to improve their service. Came here on Sunday morning. The employee who attended us served us such little portions I thought she was joking with us. I ordered a kids nacho and she served us 3 dried out small pieces of chicken and forgot the chips. I’m not joking. After I asked for chips because it was nachos, I asked her for more chicken and she told us she would have to charge us double. I could not believe she thought that she was giving me the right portion. I said okay, charge me whatever as long as I can get more food. She refused and my child went home hungry. Also, She forgot my chips and forgot our drinks, I had to remind her! I wish I could say this was a one time ordeal but the service at this location has been in decline for a while. Please do better training with your team-members.
Garbage service literally every time. Come if you're cool waiting 20-30 extra minutes to get your food. This last time they just gave my food away to someone else, I guess you can waltz in here and point at a bag and say it's yours without having to verify anything. When I showed up they were confused and then didn't offer an apology or anything, just alright I guess we'll make it again. Then they argued with me about it. I use to love Izzo's but the customer service alone has made this the last time I'll ever have it.
worst experience today .. this location has been so hit or miss lately. i got a burrito today- the chicken was so dry and the burrito itself was lacking so much flavor. i also got a queso and it was like water- barely had no cheese taste. it’ll be a while till i come back
I order a mushroom topping and was told it was an extra fee, but the older gentleman serving me, barely put any mushrooms on it. I said if it is extra then you need to give me more.. He did and when I went to the register, He charged me twice. The coke machine was not in service at lunchtime so I had to get sweet tea. Very angry when I get to work finding out that The sweet tea was unsweetened labeled sweet. Get the meal “deal” and the chips and Queso or a smoke and mirrors to make your bill higher. The Queso is the size of a ramekin of ketchup. You basically get to have enough for 5 chips and throw the rest away or eat them plain. My lunch was ruined and very costly. My lunch was over $17 dollars and I am angry because lunch should never be that much. I didn’t tip.
Lunch. Kinda dead for a Saturday at noon. Everything was good but the steak was really chewy and some pieces uneatable (both burritos). Will not get steak again.
Food is always consistent, employees may have just been having a bad day.
