Slug & Lettuce - The Friary Cardiff

Shocking bottomless brunch on Saturday. Food was poor and drinks shocking. In 2 hours we were served 2 drinks. Orders didn’t appear. We were asked to move from our table who we did although we were still waiting for our ordered drinks but nobody sat in the area after us. We sat outside in the cold. We did eventually get 2 more drinks but with members of our party getting them from the bar. Very very disappointing. We were told we could arrive early but when we did there was nowhere to sit Slug and lettuce- never again ‍♀️ ‍♀️

Table was booked for 1 o clock we arrived at 12.50 the table was set up ready for us 1.15 no one had come to see us so I went up to the bar to see what was happening finally 1.20 someone came to take our first drink order then at 2.45 we was told we had to leave I explained what had happened and the waiter said awh well as she shrugged her shoulders you will need to leave now and refused to serve us one last drink very poor service and will never return

Ash was our server today! What a legend!!! So attentive, quick, friendly and on the ball. What a guy!

Food was nice warm tasty but portion size for money was small , gr8 atmosphere but the service was bad had table reserved for 12 we payed from 1 - 3 , we were seated on time our first drink was served at 1.20 but we had to ho bar to ask if we could get served. Then we were told at 2.45 we had yo leave the table and go outside as they needed tables , so value for money is a total rip off would recommend to anyone

Stevie was a great host always keeping us topped up on drinks during our bottomless brunch. Would reccomend for a boozey brunch! Vegetarian options: Good veggie and vegan options for the bottomless brunch.
