Slickers Adirondack Tavern

Perfect little mountain town tavern. Great place!!

Home-made clam chowder was sooo good that we had to come back 2 days later just to get some more. The atmosphere is also great! We were only in town for a few days but we now have a favorite spot next time we come back to this area

THE best nachos in the Adirondacks! We walked to a few places around Old Forge, wanting to make sure we visited as many taverns as possible. We waited for Slickers Nachos on purpose and we were not disappointed. Good drinks, great prices and awesome staff. We love Slickers!

Blasting music, wouldn’t turn it down, rude server avoiding us, literally took 20min to get drinks, 1hr 10min for food, paper thin chicken fingers. Thankfully we had cash to pay and walk out. I get it was a parade day/black Friday, but an apology or some acknowledgment would have gone a long way instead of attitude. Cheers.

Went with a group of old Submariners for a get-together. We tend to be a rowdy bunch, but they took it in stride and still provided great service along with good food. If mood lighting and ambiance is your thing, this may not be your place. Want good food at a good price... see you there next year.
