Been coming here semi-regularly for over 3 years. This place used to be some of the best food in town but it is absolutely terrible now. I heard they are under new ownership. If that's the case these new owners will run this place right into the ground. Last time our honey walnut shrp had no sauce and this time it was horrendously swimming in it. There is way to much breading, the list just goes on. For me the last straw was how we got our stuffed wonton tonight and ill include a picture to show you but the face that they thought this was ok to serve to somebody is pathetic. If you decide to try this place I truly hope you have a different experience but it has really gone down hill.
Amazing hot and sour soup.
I logged in to google to make this review because it was long overdue. I wish I could rate this restaurant higher. The older woman who runs it is incredible condescending and rude. The younger girl is much nicer and has made the difference in us coming back when we have had issues. We have eaten here a lot, and 1/3 times they don’t give us extra noodles when we pay for it and my husband gets jipped on shrimp. Sometimes the broth is rich and dark, but other times it tastes like salt water. Once we ordered pickup through Postmates and arrived to find the older female owner gave our order to someone else. She proceeded to imply we were trying to scam her and didn’t want to give us our order even though we’d paid and arrived within 15 minutes of placing it. She was argumentative, and usually gives us side-eye if we pick up. It’s really frustrating because this is the best pho place when it’s done right. We won’t be coming here anymore because of the rude service and inability to give customers the extras that are offered on the menu and paid for. Shame.
First time here, stopped in for a pickup to take home. Food was done quick, but when I got home about 10 minutes away, it was mostly cold. Ordered hot and sour soup and it was incredibly bitter. Didn’t taste right at all, just tasted like…feet? It was odd. Ordered pot stickers, they were way undercooked. The wrapper was really doughy? Maybe it’s just how they make them but they’re not particularly good. Got my wife the meatball pho and she had to cut her meatballs with a knife. Rough. 3/3 misses, not terrible but not worth spending $40 on it.
Very good they were busy but the food got there quickly and the service was pleasant and appropriate for the cost. These days everything costs 20.00 no matter if it’s fast food or pho. I’d much rather get this - great food and great service for 20.00 than at a fast food place serving garbage. Good job - recommended. I got the pork vermicelli with added shrimp - out the door for 20.00 bucks - very nice.
Staff is rude and impatient. Can’t handle orders in advanced. They tell us to wait and don’t like us asking how much longer.
Excellent Vietnamese food! Portions are big and the service was spot on. Our server was even on top of refills! Dinner took about 30 min…only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. It didn’t seem busy enough for the wait. We had egg rolls (delicious), 3 meat Pho and pork/shrimp noodles (love the vermicelli noodles and light sauce). Dinner was $50! Overal a great first visit. We will be back! Cheers, Amy Abbott
