The food was fine. It was average, but you're paying a Elk Grove price ($15/bowl). It's a one size bowl only so you pay for whatever size they give you. It wasn't small, but wasn't big, more on the medium side of other pho places. We came in with a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) and bought food accordingly. I paid $125 dollars. The food came out promptly and that was fine. But it was the customer service that was bad. Right after we ate, like literally when I put my spoon down, the servers were standing over us. I had one male server circle our table constantly looking at us. One server came by our table and kept rearranging things at least 4 times within a span of 5 minutes. We were waiting for my daughter to come back from the restroom so we didn't want to leave yet, but they made us feel like we needed to get up right away. Because the other diners were between 2-4 people, they didn't care to bother them, but because our group was bigger, they made us feel like we needed to leave. The moment we got up and started walking towards the exit, a swarm of 3 servers swooped in and almost ran into my daughter. We were literally there for 35 minutes from sitting, eating to getting up to leave. What a joke. I will never come back and patronize this place. You can find better pho at Pho Ivy, Quan Nem Ninh Hoa or Pho Bistro.
This restaurant has limited service so you're paying before you eat and you're responsible for fetching your own water. We went on a weekday morning and our food came out quick and was delicious. Generous amount for the price you pay. The Hanoi Pho is a must try!
I recently visited this restaurant and it has quickly become my favorite Pho / Vietnamese restaurant! They offer a wide variety of delicious dishes at reasonable prices, and the portions are generous.
One of my new go to spot for Ox Tail Pho. If you're in the area, definitely should go check it out. I usually order a side of noodles too just because I'm an eater but that will be up to yall if yall decide to check it out for yourself. Parking: This plaza is usually busy so finding parking close might be a hassle but there is definitely plenty of parking a bit further out.
2 styles of pho: Northern hanoi pho and Southern saigon pho. My first time ever trying northern style pho. Great pho over all. And also a very different type of dine in restaurant for a pho place.
Noisy, fast moving. Pho good portion and beef flavor.
