Wonderful service. Decent variety of beverages and soothing demeanor! A local must for stop ins.
Went here on a whim and wasn’t disappointed! Great coffee, friendly staff, great menu. Will have to stop by again for the wine sometime!
My Favorite coffee shop in Minneapolis and it's right next to my favorite bookstore Dreamhaven. Their Aztec Mocha is my go to and I like grabbing an Art Garfunkel grilled cheese, I just wish they would offer tomato soup with it or any soup really.
Very spacious, and lovely baristas who don’t rush you at the counter. I also enjoy their daily question. All their coffee drinks are delicious!
Best coffee in the cities!
The place isn't terrible for coffee if you need a place to study in, but it's overpriced and mid-quality coffee. Also, the sitting areas for tables in the coffee shop area is tight, a bunch of people sat at the main table behind me and they had to get up to let me out. Parking isn't that great. It's overall just another mid coffee shop with a wine bar attached (that is very loud). Parking: Cramped street parking on a busy road. Kid-friendliness: The coffee area might be a bit better but still wouldn't bring a kid here. Wheelchair accessibility: tight quarters, would not recommend for those that need wheel-chair access.
Visiting Minneapolis, and found this place close to our Airbnb. Their salty dog was amazing. Dark chocolate, caramel and salt. Not powerfully sweet- think slightly veering to a savory hot cocoa. I usually stick to a vanilla latte as any specialty drink is too sweet, but this was just right. The service was great, and the atmosphere is super peaceful and chill.
These people are based. Delicious food, and fantastic service. The Aztec Mocha is fire
The coffee and the cookies were excellent, but the staff behaved quite strangely. I sat with a new friend chatting there for about 4 hours, and 2 hours before the place closed, a staff person started putting the chairs on the tables and sweeping. She even asked us to move so she could sweep under us! That was a first for me. Also, she and the other barista, made so much extremely loud and jarring noise with dishes and by emptying the espresso maker, that several patrons jumped each time. It was almost comical how loud and frequent the noise was. It was literally shocking. We watched at least two groups of people sit briefly and then leave after being so put off by the banging of metal on metal and dishes crashing together. It was incredibly unpleasant!
