Went in late and was manhandled by an employee as was my friend. Place wasn’t closed yet. Didn’t get a word in. If you’re a woman, I’d be careful based off of how my friend was treated. Never coming back here after tonight and wouldn’t recommend anyone else would either.
I was at a bar, paid $20, and left after a minute and a half. In short - I entered the place, the security guard was very nice. I asked the bartender for a beer, she said it was $7, and when I gave her my credit card, she said the minimum was $20 on credit. So I said it's no problem, bring me 2 beers and keep $6 as a tip. After she returned my card, I asked to sing songs, and to my surprise, each song cost $2. When I asked why she didn't mention it before I paid for the first time, she yelled at me, saying "Who doesn't come to a bar with cash?" She raised her voice, spoke disrespectfully, and after I told her it was my first time being told this, she laughed and moved on to the next customer. Of course, I took my leave and left. To the owner, take note - I'm a regular customer of karaoke bars in New York and around the world, and such a thing has never happened to me. I'm sure, just as disappointed as I left because of her, many others have too. I hope you'll resolve this with her because I won't be coming back to this place.
We loved our experience. Got a private room to sing with friends. They have SO MuCH MuSIC. You can bring food in from outside they don't care as long as you buy some drinks. It can get very crowded on the main level, so not for anyone claustrophobic!!
