Very mid flavored ramen. Not worth it.
Stopped by for lunch, and had the impossible bun and the garlic truffle ramen with tofu. Both were delicious and packed with flavor. Presentation was great, as well as overall atmosphere and music choice. Definitely will be back! Parking: lots of construction around the business plaza
Craving ramen on a cold evening, I chose Silverlake because they're in the dining rewards program so I not only had a delicious meal, I earned some AAdvantage miles. Hooray. Greeted and seated immediately, my waiter brought my menu and a glass of water. I chose the combo and it did not take very long at all. Both my creamy broccolini appetizer and the classic tonkotsu ramen arrived at the same time. Broccolini was delicious and while a little challenging with chopsticks, I managed to demolish it. Yummy! The ramen was next. Rich broth with a lovely slice of grilled pork on top (they also do impossible meats here!) with the soft boiled egg and plenty of perfectly al dente noodles. Yes, I drained the bowl down to the last drop. Fabulous. Next time, I think I'll try the chicken karaage bowl. Looked great at the next table. Vegetarian options: They offer vegetable broth and Impossible Meat. Dietary restrictions: They have options. Ask your waiter. Parking: Street parking available. Kid-friendliness: Do your kids like soup? Wheelchair accessibility: Step free access and wheelchair tables.
Went here last week with the family to try something new. Ramen bowl was ok but wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped. I personally had the Blaze chicken bowl, and karaage. It was ok, though it should have had more Ramen noodles . The karaage was a little bland but crispy. The house sauce gave it some flavor and saved the night for me! Rest of the crew had karaage rice bowls and a Classic Ramen bowl. The Blaze bowl was better to me and comes with either chicken or pork. The stock also comes by default with pork stock and you have to request for chicken or seafood stock. Seating was limited for the five of us, so we sat along a bar counter across from stacks of Styrofoam carryouts and the grill. Overall it was ok and worth another try maybe during spring or summer when outside seating opens up. Parking: Parking lot next to South Blvd and shared with other businesses so come after 5:30pm when most of them are closed for best availability.
Some of the best ramen around decent prices would definitely recommend if you haven't eaten here yet
You’ll never see me review a place, but this place is one of the best ramen in Charlotte and I believe they deserve more recognition! I am a weekly customer in this place. They have a branch in Concord too. I have tried every single menu and I recommend getting tsukemen and garlic truffle the most, then shoyu on fire and the blaze (top 4) Parking: Mostly a parallel parking and hard to spot one sometimes, but it’s easier to park around lunch time weekdays.
