I have been here a few times and every time I have had the most wonderful experience. Their staff is amazing. They are very personable and operate effectively. Their food is the best I've ever had. My wife and I always share a carbanara and whatever the special is. We are always full and usually have food to take home. Its important to know that this could be a longer dinner experience. Whenever we come here we make sure we don't have any plans afterwards. The absolute greatest dining experience I've ever had has been within the walls of Sicilia Mia.
Everything we tried was amazing. The ragu was our favorite.
The professionalism was a big turn on for me; I felt like some sort of royalty with how the staff treated me and my friend. Sooo many menu items to choose from! Thank goodness for Gavin, our fantastic, charismatic, knowledgeable, kind (and very handsome) server. He gave us recommendations and insights on the menu that made it much easier to choose. We ended up choosing the market experience which floored us- the most delicious food I’ve ever had. Though they were out of Tiramisu, my favorite dessert, we chose the olive oil cake. My friend said that it must be what they serve in heaven. I was surprised to have tasted what is now the most incredible dessert I’ve ever had. A perfect experience, honestly. Gavin deserves a raise and then some. He was very interactive and down to earth with us. I look forward to coming again and seeing what the other menu items will do to my taste buds! Worth the price.
Update: Today we went to the restaurant expecting to eat a delicious pasta carbonada. To our surprise, it was nothing like what we had eaten at this place before. What happened? Update: I sent an email on March 26 .still waiting for a response
Server asked right away if we had dietary restrictions (i thought that was a wonderful attentive question to ask) but Having been here a number of times before (but not for a few years), I knew we shouldn't change their awesome menu. We ordered the signature carbonara.... it was not served even close in flavor or show to all the times before. The grand flame and show was gone, the taste of the dish was completely different and room temperature... it was extremely "meh". Like they barely lit any flame and didn't look excited or interested in plating the now skimpy amount of carbonara. They use to write on the plate in balsamic vinegar reduction while plating the generous portions and topped with fresh ground pepper... nope none of this. The other entrees were very meh as well. The pasta could've been purchased from a box at winco. The sauces were pretty good but the pasta was extremely "meh". The caprese salad with the amazing olive oil and fresh mozzarella was so bland. No balsamic vinegar, 1 small leaf of basil to share with all the tomatos and mozzarella and no salt, no pepper? How can you make mozzarella and quality olive oil like that sit there so bland without seasoning? I was very sad because we drove 600 miles to an event and I was bragging to my friend about the best Italian food ever and I didn't scoff at the prices because I knew $40 a person would be worth it after we floated out of the restaurante so delighted. Nope. A total waste of time and money. I wanted to ask if the place was under new ownership because the food was just okay like olive garden food and the atmosphere lost its Italian feel. Before the servers I had were Italian and likely related to the owners and so excited to be there and serve... this time the server was just trying to get through her day. It was an okay experience and I can't even brag about how amazing the carbonara experience is anymore because it'just not even close to the same restaurant it was a couple years ago. Don't waste your money. Either save up and go to the real Italy to get the experience or have a similar okay Italian experience at macaroni grill or olive garden for half the price.
Wonderful restaurant. Food was so delicious. The owner noticed a younger member of our party didn't like his food so he made a custom pizza. molto bene grazie! Highly recommend this place.
The caprese salad as an appetizer was delicious as was the complementary bread basket they brought out. Pizza was possibly the best we’ve ever had. Super fresh and flavorful. We will go back over and over just for that. Rigatoni Alla Vodka was lovely as well. Signature Carbonara was the disappointing part. Was so super salty it was inedible. Should’ve sent it back, but we were on a time crunch. The table side preparation was fun to watch and hear the details of the cheese. Service was excellent. Place is clean and upper scale decor. Parking: Large lot with lots of places to park. Wheelchair accessibility: Easily wheelchair accessible
Good food, service was quick
It was disappointing. The food was delicious, but the service was lacking. They told us about how good their fresh bread is, but they were all out. We got there 30 minutes after they opened. We were their first carbonara of the day and they didn't even melt the cheese at all before putting the pasta in. All that happened is that some of our sauce got left in the cheese wheel. We had really high hopes for the restaurant but were very dissatisfied. Especially since the meals are around $30 each.
Very lovely place. It looks unassuming from the outside, but the inside on a Saturday evening felt like a lovely and cozy upscale Italian restaurant. I had the caprese salad, gnocchi with chicken milanese, and chocolate panna cotta with a glass of wine, and everything was fantastic. Definitely plan for a pricey meal, but I feel like the quality of the food and service matched my expectations. I love gnocchi and chicken milanese, and this was definitely the best I've had in Utah. Highly recommend getting a reservation, especially for a weekend. There was a nearly nonstop flow of people coming in for dinner, and the small entrance lobby was crowded when we left.
