I wish I could leave negative stars. -10. Livid. Awful experience all around. The food was awful. Some kind of hamburger steak was the only thing edible. The fried chicken was so dry there was no meat on the bone. The crawfish was cook so beyond edible there was no meat inside. The ac must be gone because we literally had sweat rolling down our faces. No one came to refill our drinks unless we went to find someone. It was not crowded. There were a decent amount of people in but the waitresses looked at us several times never to come help us. I had wanted to order something made to order to see if my kids could eat that but it seemed that men were the only ones being waited on. After we tried to pick at the food I had my husband and kids go to the car so they didn’t have a heat stroke. I flagged down a lady filling the bar and asked for my ticket. After waiting 20 mins and watching the waitress go to the same tables over and over I went to the front to ask for it I ran into her and she agreed we had an awful experience. I do understand short staffing issues I do but this is 100% unacceptable. The walls were dirty chairs and tables were balanced with bottle caps. The bar was clean looking but the food was bland and cooked past being able to be served to people. Highly disappointed. The staff was nice when I could track them down but it seemed if you weren’t a male local slim to no service.

Love love love shoneys so sad to see them go. I went on closing day to support. Everything was great until I was told I had to pay 6.99 a Lb for a Togo box the waitress GAVE me an told me to fill with food from the bar. I was never told if the charge. Besides that everything is always on point and I hate to see them go. I grew up going to Shoneys every Saturday and Sunday after church.

Fabulous breakfast buffet!! Overheard that their lease wasn't renewed.. and they would be closing soon, such a shame. Friendly staff, hot food and clean restaurant. Strong (but not too strong), delicious coffee too. Buffet was eggs, grits, hash browns, potatoes, bacon, sausage, fried bologna, french toast, pancakes, hot syrup, biscuits, gravy, salad bar with fruit, and cold pasta salad, plus more... So much to choose from. Busy.. people coming in as a steady stream, but not overcrowded and food bar stayed full. The host was old school.. Greeting everyone like family and quick to seat you. 10.99 price (excluding drink) at time of posting this. All you can eat worth it. Please property owner.. Renew their lease. Vegetarian options: Salad bar part of buffet. Parking: There is construction at entrance, but did not slow us down getting in to park. Kid-friendliness: A few families dining in. Choice of booth or table/chairs. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking available and sloped ramp. Parking lot sloped...a van would need to park on side of building, i would think. Double doors to get in so may need someone to open the door. Tables available to move a chair to pull up to table. The buffet could be tricky from a chair.. Tight getting around if you are there alone. Better to have help and fix your plate for you. Overall, dining alone in a wheelchair could be slightly frustrating.. dining with someone no problem. I did not use the restroom to speak on accessibility there.
