Ship Inn Levington

Excellent food, OK service, nice atmosphere. We booked for 12.30 and were told we could only have the table for two hours. We were served drinks and then waited an hour for the food. The food was excellent, fish & chips, lamb roast and sea bass with new potatoes and salad. Shame we didn't have time for a desert. I recommend booking a later table to allow enough time for a full meal.

Service was poor; staff spent a lot of time talking at the bar and weren't attentive. Food very mediocre. 'Treacle Songe Pudding', was a slice of stodgy cake with golden syrup drizzled on.

Went in for a late lunch , service was great and for was amazing. Parking: Loads of parking .

Beautiful little village pub. Unfortunately the tables were packed so tightly we had to move chairs and tables to be able to sit down. The staff were lovely and service was quick. My starter was good but my main course was a huge disappointment, slow cooked lamb, mash and veg. The mash was dry and lumpy and the lamb was just microwaved slices which were like eating cardboard, won’t be going back.
