Recently dined there with my friend's family and it was such a good night made possible by the amazing food, ambiance and the hospitality of the staff was top notch, big shout out to Ridhi who was on standby to assist us in any way possible during service. And yes, we got to sing along to the beautiful Indian music that was playing. Highly recommend the restaurant and thank you so much.

Don’t be fooled by the high rating Worst experience ever! I don’t like to give negative comments but this place is one of the worst places I have ever been! The only fine thing about the place is the decoration other than that nothing was nearly acceptable I waited too long for the food and when it arrived it was cold , overcooked, over spiced and dry! Never coming back again. I paid 27£ for two persons. So the price is ok.

Been here few times and food always spot on . Used to go akbar before but now if i want curry it definitely shimals is the one . Highly recommended

Tried it as I was curious how a place gets 4.8/5 from 2.5k reviews. Comfortable airy seating, prompt, warm service, fair price and great taste. Dishes usually come with rice or naan. Their fish was surprisingly good, dynamite prawns were crispy, but the star of the show was the mutton handi.

Me and my family has gone there for my daughter's 5th birthday and it was terrible! The second we walked in there was lots of customers waiting for their food and there only 1 person on each floor serving. Took 1 hour for starters then a another 1 for the mains. I do not recommend the chicken pakora and the paneer pakora because they don't have any flavour and it feels like chewing on rubber. We had to ask the waitress for sauce and took 45 minutes we were about leave though. chicken tikka masala was an absolute no because it was too spicy and we asked for no spice. only good thing was literally the salad. It may look pretty and you think it will taste good but no dont judge the restaurant by its looks. If you have loads of free time and want to chew on rubber come here.l!
