3 years later (2024) update: not as good as before unfortunately. Kung Pao Chicken 宫保鸡丁 is really odd, haven't had a version like this anywhere before, US or China. Also it's not really cut into 丁 (diced/cubed). Dan Dan noodles also use peanut butter instead of sesame paste which makes it from potentially really good to a little odd. Unfortunate, not sure what happened to their chefs Came here with my entire family + brother in law. Dad is from Sichuan/Hunan. He said it's "pretty good" which means it's very good. (Decent places only get silence). My review: quite tasty and worth the visit! Some dishes were slightly different than what I'd call traditional or what is typical in China/other restaurants, but different in a good way (which is rare). Recommend: dan dan noodles, beef brisket noodles/rice noodles, spicy cumin beef, jumbo shrimp dishes. Maybe they're tailoring towards more American clientele but the spice level is not very spicy (for native Sichuan/Hunan eaters). Portions are smaller but prices are cheaper so it works out well imo. 蛮不错!
Very small food portions (sesame beef and chicken garlic beef & comb rice) the hot and sour soup hand no flavor (the dont have fried noodles) foods little to no flavor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Good food here worth the price
Service: They welcomed us 20 minutes before closing and dined in. The service was outstanding and felt like home. Food: I WILL MAKE A 40 MIN DRIVE TO EAT THERE!! The quality of meat and fresh cooked vegetables is beyond normal. The flavor in their dishes is uniquely made by their amazing Chinese chefs. Atmosphere: Very clean and friendly environment. Overall: Don’t go to a chain restaurant, spend your money on a quality dish that will impact your taste buds forever.
Excellent menu choices. Generous portions. Budget friendly.
This place helped sooth my cough There was alot of food for an affordable price which tasted good. The hostess at the counter was friendly and the server was attentive. The art is nice
Best taste, fresh and fast chinesse food in the SE side area.
Orange beef was beyond bland and the chicken in the chicken broccoli was dry
Food was very good and all plates we ordered were fresh made.
