My coffee was absolutely disgusting. On a busy weekend, you would think that the drip coffee would be at least somewhat fresh, but I was handed a cup of coffee that would be more in line with what I expect from a small gas station on the interstate. It was very burnt and smelled so foul that even the people at my table commented on it. It was gently placed in the trash after a couple of sips. I also had a seasonal cranberry latte, which was somehow chunky? I liked the atmosphere of the shop, and would come back if the coffee was edible.
Very cute little shop with a great atmosphere! You walk into a beautiful old building to be greeted by a welcoming environment of plants, smell of coffee, and friendly staff. Coffee was reasonably priced and good quality. I didn’t see a very large breakfast menu, but small, easy breakfast baked goods were available.
Baristas would walk up to the counter, look at you and walk away. Cleaned a the same window for over 10 minutes(not a large window) when there was a line of customers and no one on register. Would stop and talk to eachother. A major lack of organization and no clear priority in their workplace.
Ohh, this is what a cappuccino is supposed to taste like! Been a really long time since I had one from a cafe that isn't a Starbucks or other fast food cafe. It's excellent! I like the inside of this place too. The vault is a little, dimmly lit, hangout area.
