I think we’re spoiled in Gatineau with the Palais Libanais. Only good shawarma family in Gatineau area if you ask me. This place’s chicken was dry and very crumby! We took 2 chicken plates and a shawarma, was 60$. The rice & potatoes don’t taste like much and the turnips tasted gross. Don’t recommend.

I've been to shawarma places in my life, especially when I used to live in Montréal... But this. This is unlike any I've ever tried! Maybe I waited too long for some good shawarma but this place exceeded my every expectations. I was surprised it wasn't packed. Best shawarma ever !! Vegetarian options: I saw vegan options. I'm no vegan but they have this option. Dietary restrictions: You pick what you want on your plate. Parking: Giant parking lot in front of giant tiger. Kid-friendliness: I saw high chairs and kid entertainment options.

I made an order today because I had a concussion a couple of days ago and can’t cook right now. The food was really refreshing and the salad was fresh with lots of different vegetables. Lots of hummus and garlic sauce and the chicken was really moist and nicely seasoned! I have been coming here for over ten years on and off and the lady who runs it is a true sweetheart. Thanking them for their help today. Update: it seems like it has closed down?

Toujours un plaisir quand on mange le plat familial, excellent à déguster et il en reste souvent comme restant tellement que la quantité est généreuse

Le positif : les patates sont bonnes Pour le sandwich, dès que je l’ai vu prendre du poulet déjà coupé d’une assiette j’ai su la qualité qui m’attends. Poulet très sec. J’étais déçu parce que je voyais du bon poulet entrain de cuire sur la barre qui tourne.

Been going to this restaurant since moving to the region in 2018. It is a friendly, family run restaurant with a lot of personality. The food is excellent quality and always fresh. Keeps me coming back time and time again. I'm so happy to be able to support this local business. Thank you!
