Bring back Monkey9. This new place that took over has the worst service (what happened to all the staff from Monkey?) the food has seriously gone downhill and over priced, specials are gone. These new owners ruined this place
One of the worst experiences ever in my life. The staff that work here have zero care in the world and ignore customers. 10 minutes for 3 drinks when he bartender and manager stand around talking and swearing. Our meal sucked, and the server never asked how our meal was nor did we get offered refills. The food was overcooked and looked like I could have gotten the same at 7-11 for half of the cost and none of the frustrating staff. There was never a smile, staff on the phones or flirting with customers. The only thing good is that size of their TV projector. The bathrooms were filthy and smelled like urine everywhere and looked like no one has cleaned it for months!!!!
TERRIBLE !!!!!! Minimum 30 min. For a beer on tap poured, and only 4 out of the huge selection they had were even available. So forget the “flights”. Over 2 hours for food(minimum), and each item came at approx. 20-30 min intervals per guests, carrying one drink in a hand. ?trays ? no server to come and even ask how it was. “New system”.
Came in early evening of family day. Bartender was too busy talking to a friend for any kind of service but gladly poured numerous drinks for himself. Then the chef and an a plain clothes girl went behind bar poured themselves shots of liqour. Servers swear to each other and do not give any attention to detail. I watched the chef pouring shots and I can only assume was the manager or maintenance person cooking not in uniform and wandering around. Note no hat no hairnet. This is a staff party mentality not anything professional . It would explain why it is dead in here. Absolutley no direction or proper management. I wonder how much liqour does not get counted for. Thank god not my payroll !!! I gave 3 stars to some of the line cooks as they actually were working hard and my food was decent.
Our movie was early so we decided to get some food. We saw this restaurant and walked in. Upon sitting down all we could see was dirty tables, floors, dirty windows and massive cobwebs all over them. I thought to myself this is the most unsanitary place I have ever been. We walked out before even ordering a drink. We ended up at subway across the street and that’s telling you something…
Updated with new name/management now that it's Seven10 Social. Staff is undertrained, inattentive and just disinterested. When we had a server, they were nice to us, but seemed like they'd rather do anything than approach the table or seat you. Food is mediocre and overpriced. There's a $2 upcharge if you want tater tots instead of fries? And they no longer brew their own beer, which is such a shame. I won't be going back. Review of Monkey9 Brewing: Great spot and super convenient. I frequently go and fill my growler here. It’s reasonable and quick and the staff always makes time, even though it’s just at the bar of the restaurant. I have eaten here before as well and that was also very good. Nice selection of beers both more traditional and unique.
Excellent place to go before heading to the movies! Excellent gluten free pizza! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options!
Recently visited, old moneky 9 purchased by seven 10 & the business modal is weak. No more growler refilling… Prices surged.
Chefs you can’t tell me you’re happy sending that food out from your kitchen. Possibly the worst max and cheese I’ve ever had. It must be frozen or from a package. The pizza was undercooked and the cheese was off, likely a fake mozzarella from a package as well. The manager wandering the restaurant with a hoodie over his shoulder and pants hanging off his bum. Every server dressing like a slob with no policy on their outfits clearly. Ratty shoes and sweatpants by some of the workers. No wonder the place was dead.
