Called in today, lovely attentive staff and good menu. Turkish coffee and baklava especially delicious. We will be back!

Amazing! Beautiful cafe, very tasty food with great presentation and reasonable prices. They served some fantastic Turkish style coffee. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly, with their own wonderful little yorkie

Initially we went in and weren't welcomed at all, we tried to ask if we needed to get a table first or order and were rudly told to go get a table ourselves and then order. When ordering, we were trying to ask what some of the items on the menu meant and the waitress didn't know so kept on asking the cook who was rudly answering back and kept on telling us the price. The food took nearly an hour to arrive and we had to ask if It was coming after 40 minutes and were answered back with " yeah it's in the microwave and it'll be a minute " . 20 minutes later the food arrived. The meat looked ugly to say the least, the bread had literal mould on it, and the rice was cold. We left and couldn't even eat half of the meal with a worry of getting food poisoning from it. Stay away.

Visited with family and chose here because they are dog friendly. Staff were fairly unfriendly but didn’t let that stop us. Ordered food and waited a long, long time. Food turned up minus my sisters meal of garlic mushrooms. We tried to talk to girl waitressing but she walked off. Turns out they had no garlic mushrooms but didn’t tell us, when we questioned it cook/dark haired little man became rude telling us his problems with staff - none of them spoke English as they are Romanian, Ukrainian and Hungarian - probably wrong job for them in customer service!! Food very average, service appalling and didn’t date appraise cleanliness of kitchen!! Will defo never go back!

Called in for a light lunch. Excellent soups with flatbreads. Friendly service. Funny spelling mistakes on the menu - how many can you spot? Would definitely recommend.

First time visiting Bakewell, and found this lovely little place as well! Food was lovely, fresh and beautifully presented. Staff so welcoming.. Popped on here to leave a review, bit shocked to see so much negativity. All I can say is what we got today was perfect. Thank you. Definitely will be back.
