Seapot Hot Pot & Korean BBQ

This all-you-can-eat spot combines hot pot and BBQ, providing good variety for the price. The rotating menu with dishes on a conveyor adds a fun touch. However, the seasoning is quite salty. Overall, it’s a worthwhile visit but doesn’t reach the peak of culinary excellence. I’d give it four stars for its creative setup and decent quality.

Since there is no 3 1/2 rating, I am giving this new Hot Pot restaurant a 4-star rating. The best thing here is the excellent service provided by our server (if that is the right word) Lia. We have dinner at this place yesterday (4/26/24) and were satisfied except the following: (1) restroom could have been better; and (2) ventilation is not great as you and your clothes smells (food) after eating. We love sesame balls but none were available during the time we ate. I think the Seapot in Daly City is better except both of their restrooms need improvements. Good food but I will not bring a date here because I/we do not want to be smelling (food) after leaving the place! And this is my honest and unbiased review! Parking: Parking is not an issue as there is plenty of parking.

Loved the experience, the food, and the service. They have a salad and sauce bar as well with various options on sauces. Now you don't have to choose between hotpot or K-BBQ because you can do both!! It's just $32.99 all you can eat Hotpot or K-BBQ or both for an additional $5. And the have a nice wine bar a nice selection of sake you can you from. Definitely come and try it for yourself!

This is my first time trying Seapot Hot Pot & Korean BBQ. My experience is excellent! The meats are very fresh and high-quality. The workers there are so lovely and attentive. I love the conveyor belt next to the tables for all the seafood, vegetables, and side dishes. We can pick up anything passing by, and the waitress always comes for the meat order at the perfect time. The sauce bar also has more vegetables, fruits, and side dishes like pig ears, salads, chicken feet, and much more. We are doing the hot pot only this time. They have more soup choices than most of the other hot pot restaurants. It is an individual pot per person too. I am sure I’ll come back soon! Today’s dinner was very good. There was a little episode in the middle, but the overall environment was good, and the clerk‘s service attitude was also very good.

I love hotpot. I’ve already tried out all the spots near my town, so I tried this one further up north near Sac. The conveyor belt is awesome. You don’t have to keep asking the waiter / waitress for sides over and over again, just wait a minute for what you want to slide by and take it. Really good idea! The food itself is comparable to the other spots I usually go to. The hotpot portion is fine with the exception of the pork and pepper broth. My broth literally smelled like cow manure, like when you drive by a farm and smell manure, that’s what I smelled, right in front of my face. I just stuck with miso. The BBQ is also good but I don’t know if it was just my table, but the grill was barely able to cook my meats. It legit took over 15 minutes to cook one round of meat for bbq, and it wasn’t a lot to begin with. Also it’s really hot in here. Again, maybe it’s just where I sat, but I was sweating like crazy. 4 stars, I’d come back if I was in the area but there are closer ones where I live.

Went for my sister's early birthday, great time. Service was good. Just didn't like how we both had to get the same dish whether it be hot pot or Korean BBQ. We were both wanting different dishes but its ok, made it work regardless.

The food is great and we love the atmosphere. My family and I will be returning real soon!

The conveyer belt idea is cute! The space is cute! Pretty much all booth seating. Gustavo, our server, did a fabulous, attentive job. I really enjoyed the sauce bar, but as others have mentioned, the meat portions for KBBQ are very small. Bummer! And no appetizers come with the KBBQ. Also bummer!

VERY PREJUDICE STAFF! Everything was good other than the service. Very prejudice. If you are of any of the Latina, Native American, African American or other ethnicity outside of the Asian/Korean community you will be put at the bottom of the priority list for servers. My fiancé and I were ignored towards the middle and end of our time there, having to go out of our way to get a servers attention. I would call our server over and get ignored, unless I went completely out of my way to get their attention. Servers would consistently check every table in our aisle, yet very seldomly would they check ours. They would stare at us from their posts behind the bar and upfront which was seriously uncomfortable and served us poorly. Towards the end, my fiancé wanted one last round of proteins, yet as I attempted to get my servers attention, he’d look in the opposite direction, I had moved to the edge of the seat to get his attention, yet he began to clean a table directly beside me and even when he finished and I had requested for him clearly, precisely and politely of course, he still refused to provide me with any further attention and service. An entirely different server had to come to us minutes later yet by that time my fiancé no longer wanted to put in her final order and wanted to leave. So we did. The atmosphere is exceptional, the food is satisfying, but the service is tremendously poor towards other ethnicities other than Asian/Korean.
