Disappointed in the experience we had at this restaurant. I would have never imagined I would still be hungry after spending $140 (plus tip) as a couple. The trio appetizer was ok, I liked the tuna bites, I didn't care about the inhouse smoked salmon, it wasn't as tasty as I thought it would be. The East Coast oysters were very small and not as tasty either. I ordered the lobster tail (because they were out of the whole Maine lobster), to my surprise it was overcooked and very salty. My boyfriend ordered the steelhead trout, it looked good but had no flavor. On top of that we ordered the same side dishes and his were in larger portions than mines. I didn't say anything, however when the waiter asked me how is everything tasting, I nicely expressed my disatifaction in regards to the fact that my lobster tail was overcooked and so salty, she said a "oh I'm sorry" and that was all. In any respectful restaurant, a manager would have come to the table, speak with me, take the plate away and replace it or at least make it up in another way, not here though. The waiter acted like nothing happen. The worse part of the evening is that minutes after we finished eating we started to feel like we are going to throw up and I hope to God this is not because of the oysters.
Good local seafood place in west Plano. Much-needed. Glad it is here. Had stuffed shrimp, asparagus, and ratatouille. You don’t get that every day!
Stopped in while visiting the Dallas area. I didn't know what to expect, so it was a pleasant surprise to find a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Make sure you have reservations since there is a good bit of traffic and demand. Also, while you are waiting for your table, check out the hidden bar just to the right as you enter the restaurant. (nice touch and a good way to pass the wait time) We enjoyed the fried seafood platter and the shrimp etouffee. Both were delicious and were an ample serving size. We definitely revisit next time we are in the area.
I am celebrating my birthday and have been planing to try this spot but Covid interrupted. I had a great time and my pasta was very good. What stole the show was my server Aaron. He was pleasant and attentive and made the bday girl feel very special. My whole group commented on how good Aaron was. We will definitely return. The hostess made me feel like I picked a good spot and I was not disappointed. Thank you guys for a great bday and I'm sorry we left after 9:30. My mistake. I thought you closed at 10pm.
Great experience fir my first time here. The place is super clean, "like brand new clean" Tou can tell the owners and the staff really care about the restaurant. The food is delicious and the service was off the charts great. The servers were attentive, but not overly so. It was a pleasant, comfortable dining experience.
The best seafood in North Texas. Period. Served by a staff that are professional, polite, and timely. Closed early for the superbowl. Whoever in management made that decision is an idiot, as respectfully as I can say that. Nobody gives AF about the Chiefs and the 49ers. Let me eat my seafood.
