Countryside hotel with good customer service. Very old building with some outdated features. 2.5 star from me because the gym and games area are not in good shape and rooms need a lot of heat to become conducive
We arrived for a special meal after traveling from Leicester with 6 other members of our family to celebrate our wedding anniversary, as we had our wedding reception at Scalford Hall 15 years ago. Upon arrival, there was no one to be found apart from some maintenance staff. They informed us that there was no water so they were closed. There was no communication to inform us of this, and we emailed them multiple times after this to find out what went on, with no response whatsoever. What a horrendous way to treat your customers. Extremely disappointed.
Irene Jones 5/5 6 days ago on Google Great staff. New owners and staff are really working very hard to repair the damage done to both the building and reputation by the previous owner. Restoring the building to its former glory and offering a lovely tranquil setting and delicious food from their new amazing in house chef that befits this beautiful historic building and grounds.
