SAS Lounge, Newark International Airport

This lounge is pretty pathetic. This whole terminal needs a re-model.

I came to the lounge around 2100 hrs when they were going to close within 2 hours, and there was literally no food left. The food selection was limited. All I could find was some crackers, pretzels, meatballs and some corn. There were some takeaway sandwiches in the fridge but it said 'EL AL Passengers Only'. They had some variety of fruits, though, and drinks were fine. It's also a bit crowded and may not be ideal place to have some quite pre departure time.

It closes from 12pm to 1:30 pm.

Fint, rent, bra sortiment på både mat och dryck. Gott om personal som dessutom är artiga och trevliga.

Offerings are very spare. Minimal salad bar. Sandwich bar choices were sliced turkey and potato salad. Nothing else. Hot was steamed veggies, meatballs and boiled pasta. Best option was chicken soup. BUT the employees were faultlessly friendly and made the experience pleasant. The lounge is contract for several airlines and closes at 11pm despite my flight leaving over 1 hour later. This seems to be only Star Alliance choice as Lufthansa lounge has been closed for many months.

Grei plass men var veldig mye folk inne da jeg var der. Litt dårlig utvalg på maten. Svenske kjøttboller uten noe annet tilbehør enn tyttebærsyltetøy... litt labert. Greit utvalg av drikke

We went there as the Lufthansa lounge is currently being refurbished. The lounge was pretty dirty, especially the restrooms. There are no showers. The food and drinks were ok. The staff was nice, but didn't care that it was not clean.

Lounge was full. Business class lounge standard is slightly lacking, however, there are a fewer option from the other lounges.

Very well maintained lounge. I get this when traveling Air India. Nice clean and good food.
