This is the first Paleo dedicated restaurant I've been to. I have been eating Paleo for about 12 years and have been eyeing this place for almost as long and finally made the hour drive for my birthday dinner. 5 stars all around. Love that it's fine dining. They also do meal prep but I haven't tried that. I had the French onion soup, Paleo bread appetizer with pork belly, filet mignon, lamb, kombucha and creme brulee (it's more like chocolate mousse). I recommend them all. Dietary restrictions: Paleo, gluten free, AIP veggie sub
Really unique place. Paleo based (which is not something I would normally seek out) with French I fluence and BYOB w minimal corkage fee. A quaint local spot with surprisingly large portions and elevated cuisine. I had the veggie plate which is quite literally a mix of everything the chef has in the kitchen so I had a mix of cauliflower soup, stuffed squash, mixed veggies. My husband enjoyed his French onion soup and duck. I was pleasantly surprised with this unassuming place. Vegetarian options: 2 Vegan options and several appropriate for vegetarian but this is Paleo based and fairly meat heavy
I was hunting for something off the radar for a family dinner and this Paleo, women-owned, BYOB restaurant checked all of the boxes. We opted for delivery, but none of the quality was missed. The Sapiens Salad was so fresh and enough for a full meal. The Sapiens Burger was superb. I have never tried a Paleo/gluten-free hamburger bun before and was pleasantly surprised. Very happy that we found a new neighborhood spot and I can't wait to dine in next time.
Fantastic food. They don’t have a liquor license. Everything on the menu is wonderful. I had meatloaf.
Visited the area and hard to find 100% GF restaurant and AIP options..we had stuffed mushrooms, meatloaf, kiddo had chicken and veggies kids meal and hubby had their burger and it did not disappoint, hubby isnt GF but was impressed. Now I know to order in advance as the chef cooks from scratch and can take some time but worth the wait! Will be back!
Amazing food! Bring your own wine!
Nothing but great food and service every Time we visit. It’s one of the only restaurants in Phoenix we can eat at due to food allergies. I always look forward to this treat :)
This is a small, cozy restaurant, with good service, but the food was absolutely terrible. Hopefully the owner is reading this as you need a new chef. We ordered 3 filets and 1 ordered chicken. All were overcooked and very tough. My steak was cooked well done while I ordered medium. It was remade, but was medium outside and rare inside. Had to cook again, and was better in color, but the steak was tough and not tasty at all. I have eaten a lot of steaks, grass fed, and this one was not good at all. Plus, the size of the steak couldn’t have been more than 4 oz. The vegetables were hard and undercooked. No one at the vegetables. My wife is allergic to a lot of foods, so was hoping this would be our new gig.
Dietary restrictions: Paleo- organic, gluten and dairy free! A worry free night of dining.
Loved this place! Exceptional food and service. Best 3 course Thanksgiving meal. I'll be back.
